Would you like to engage in a more constructive exchange of ideas?

The mission of People Beyond Politics™ is to create a growing community of people who engage around ideas rather than ideologies; who use skills for constructive dialogue; and who lead inclusively, welcoming not only marginalized people but also challenging viewpoints.

Do you steer clear of certain topics (or people) to avoid confrontation?

Cohesion takes more than respectful discussion, where we politely take turns. It requires dialogue in which we trust each other enough to be both candid and vulnerable. To be heard we must first hear the other.

Participation in this community is open to all. The only requirement is a willingness to stretch oneself and explore the experiences of the other. Join us at the next Engaging With Difference® session to learn pivotal skills that transform interactions.

Are you frustrated with how quickly a conversation becomes polarized?

The Engaging With Difference® workshop reveals why we hit roadblocks in discussions and what we can do about them. We work with a wide range of audiences and offer short presentations, interactive workshops, and small-group or individual coaching.
